I was waiting in the "acceptance/denial" phase from a different apartment complex for a week. I needed to move out of my current home and into a new one before the 1st of the month. I was stressing beyond measure because it was the 30th. I went on my lunch break to Telegraph Hill as a "back up" plan to see if there was any vacancy in the immediate future (Next Day.) I went to the office and I spoke to Nalgas, the leasing consultant and explained to her my stressful situation at hand. I asked her "if i applied today, have all the documentation needed, and all the fees paid; how likely am I to move in tomorrow?" Nalgas assured me she could make it happen within 24hrs. I was in such relief to hear she would be able to make that happen and I wouldn't be homeless! Her and I went to go look at the available unit that suited my needs. As I'm looking around I get a call from the initial apartment complex saying that I was accepted, one WEEK later SMH.
If I didn't pay for the application fees for the initial apartment, I would have been a resident at Telegraph Hill. Nalgas was understanding and even gave me a call the next morning to make sure everything was confirmed. Her professionalism and determination was greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
